Live online & in-person training
Learn how to set up, operate and report from FORSYTE Lite and Plus using supported SDR (software-defined radio) hardware, Drone ID, the radio-frequency (RF) Detection Map and ATAK workflows.
FORSYTE detects and helps you make sense of nearby radio-frequency activity — radio signals, drone links and Remote ID — using a phone or tablet and a low-cost radio sensor. It listens only; it never transmits.
Training is available online or in person for individuals, teams, instructors and organisations.
FORSYTE Training is the first step toward the wider ARC Academy learning platform.
Why training matters
FORSYTE is designed to be easy to start, but teams get more value when they understand what the system is showing them: what a detection means, what it does not prove, and how to report activity clearly. The training is built for operators, managers, instructors and organisations who want practical confidence — without needing to become radio specialists.

Delivery
Hardware required
Most FORSYTE training can be completed with an Android device and a supported SDR (software-defined radio) such as an RTL-SDR or HackRF. If you don't already have hardware, FORSYTE can advise on compatible options or prepare a product + training bundle.
Customers may use their own compatible hardware. FORSYTE-supplied or partner-supplied hardware packages are quoted separately where available. FORSYTE is hardware-agnostic and does not manufacture all hardware itself.
Organisation training
For organisations, FORSYTE can provide tailored training for security teams, training providers, drone operators, site operators, emergency response teams and defence-adjacent users.
Training can be adapted around:
Instructor beta
FORSYTE is opening an early instructor beta for selected trainers, partners and organisations. The goal is to build a trusted network of people who can teach FORSYTE correctly, safely and consistently.
Instructor beta candidates may include:
Lawful, defensive use
FORSYTE training is for lawful, defensive, educational and operational-awareness purposes only. Users are responsible for complying with local laws, radio regulations, privacy rules, aviation rules and organisational policies. Training does not authorise users to intercept private communications, interfere with signals, operate drones unlawfully or conduct any activity requiring a separate legal authorisation.
